About David Lilja:

”I’m a music producer from Stockholm, Sweden.
Influenced by Trouser Enthusiasts, Astral Projection and many more, I’ve created some heavy grooves for the dance-floor and you’ve probably danced to a couple of them without knowing. Perhaps most known as Ypsilon 5, but I’m not going to hit you with something hard if you haven’t heard of me nor anything that I’ve produced.
I started playing the Clarinette at the age of nine and the Piano at the age of ten. Fell in love with the synthetic sounds created by Jarre and got my first synth at the age of 13. I’m very interested in the wide electronica scene and I’m creating mostly everything from slow and rhythmic soundscapes to fast, uplifting, goa-trance. My influences are almost everything that makes a sound.
Since the late 90’s I’ve been working together with Swedish independent label Dead Frog Records and for the last three years also teamed up co-producing, remixing and as a sound technician for TMJ Records.”
